If you're sure you didn't inadvertantly turn it off somehow, then I would crawl under with a volt meter. Determine if you are getting voltage to the motor when the step should actuate. If you are getting voltage, then you have a motor or mechanical problem at the step. If you are not getting voltage, then you have a switch or power issue. This first check will at least divide your search in half.
