Being a fulltimer & someone who likes to cook, I use the the microwave/convection combo all the time. As an example, I frequently cook a small 1.5 lb pork roast. the normal cooking time is 1 Hr. Microwave/convection combo is 27 minutes. I've probablly cooked 30 of these over the years & I'm still here so I guess it's OK.
Today, I baked a cake & also baked Chedar Bay biscuits & all came out perfect.
Combo baking is best when you use preprogramed setting on the unit OR stuff you cook frequently & willing to work with the combo time till you get it right!
