I use my Gaggenau electric cooktop the most. But when I want to roast or bake something I have found using my Sharp Microwave/Convection Oven works just fine. I stay away from using the microwave part of it and only use the convection oven. (My sister gave me the whole spill on how using a microwave isn't good for your health)
Like Gordon shows from his photos the convection works great taking the place of an oven. Most of the time I have my coach fully cleaned and detailed but when I need to clean up after cooking something in the convection oven, it's nice because there is little cleaning to be done if a spill or over flow happens. Something to consider if you're older as well would be bending over to clean an oven.\
And if all else fails I eat out!
