Motor Coach Refrigerator Question
I am a fairly new to all this motor coach stuff and a friend whom owns a DP told me that the refrigerator should always be plugged in and running or it will ruin. Another friend with one told me that is hogwash. Which is correct?

No problem with it not plugged in as long as it is OFF and you will have no issues.

I have two experiences that may help. My 77 coach's original fridge still operates and isn't "powered up" most of the time. When we cleaned out my parents house the original Fridigaire they bought in the late 1930s that had sat for a decade or so worked just fine when plugged in.

Your friend is incorrect. Go to almost any RV storage and/or RV dealer, most are not plugged in besides maybe their showroom floor models.
