Converting Cargo Doors
I really love me newell the only thing I don't like is the swing cargo doors. Is there a way to convert them to the pull up doors that you see on the Greyhounds etc.

Good question. I was about to call Newell and ask about the feasibility of doing that. I will post my findings. I don't have a problem with the baggage doors on the passenger's side but I do find that I have to allow as much room on the drivers side as if I had a slide to be able to open the baggage doors and clear the power pedestal. I have also have to open the fuel bay doors before I enter the fueling island or otherwise I have to hug the right side and can only refuel from one side since I can't clear the pumps with the baggage doors on both sides.

Michael have you heard anything from Newell about the cargo door conversions?

Talked to Newell service on the conversion of the cargo doors. They are able to change over to pantograph type doors but it requires building new cargo doors, reworking the door frames, installing new hardware, painting and installation. A very ballpark estimate (I did not ask for a detailed quote) would probably be $2,000 or more per door.
