I have seen this problem too many times, usually due to a bad ground connection.

Checked a bunch of connections and cant seem to locate the problem. Any more ideas? also have another problem arising, I get white smoke when idling and white smoke going down the road on the left side, the right clears up. The DD manual seems to indicate I need new injectors. Any ideas?

Jeff, are you by chance referring to a Raritan hot water heater? For the engine problem I suggest re-posting the question under the major mechanicals forum section for a quicker response.
