Best Campground Directory?
told today to invest in a Woodall's Campground Guide. Would this be the one to get or is there another one that would be better? Will buying one work for 2-3 years, or is it something that would have to be bought every year?

Brian,
We used the Trailer Life Campground Guide more than Woodalls, but we kept both on hand. I bought a Woodalls every 2- 3 years and a Trailer Life every two years. You can usually get the previous years guide at a steep discount, so we usually buy an almost out-of-date Woodalls for half price or less. We buy our Trailer Life at a pre-season discount, typically abut $15 + shipping. If you don't travel extensively, you can access either guide online for free.

I alternate directories every 2-3 years. Each has features I like. Even every 2-3 years there is very little change.

The only thing you can count on is the price of the campground fee to have gone up between years.

Don't rely on those guides for pricing since I find the prices in the guide are usually not correct anyway.

You did not mention the size of your coach, but if 45', you may want to subscribe to Big Rig RV Park.
