How often should the 110 compressor run?

Newell says every 45 minutes. But most think that is way too often. It's a difficult path trying to find all of the small air leaks. Large leaks are usually easier to find. It's worth the money to buy an ultrasonic leak detector such as the Inficon Whisper.
