You can add a seat for $2,000.

They have mini segways for $3,000. Mini Segway Style Robin M1 Personal Transporter Electric Mobility Scooter on eBay!

We've considered getting a couple ever since we took a Segway tour in Santa Barbra. The wife still talks about how much fun she had.

That '02 may need a new battery, they don't last forever. We have something very similar a Zappy3. It is a 3 wheeled electric scooter. I leave my seat off and it is fun to ride at a fraction of the cost. I found ours on craigslist an spent $250 for the first and $200 for the second, the first needed new batteries.
These are still hard to store. I take them apart (just 2 bolts) so that they fit into the bay. I am thinking of a rack if they stick around. Here is a link but ours are older and do not fold, check out the video;

We purchased a couple of Segways at Costco oh maybe 3-4 years ago for a bargain. They didn't seem to carry them that long. We absolutely love them.
