Default Electrical issue with Newell Coach dash?

What is the best way to get behind the dash to check out a gauge. My outside temp. gauge was not working on my last trip. I would like to make sure that I don't have a loose connection. I have taken out the 4 screws but still tight. I don't want to force anything. It is a 99 model. Thanks Chappell

Yachts did you happen to shoot any pictures of the repairs? They have always incouraged me to take a few shots. What was or is the problem with your dash?

Thanks Jack and Yachts. I did not know the top would come up. I will do it this morning. On my Foretravel the top would come off but did not know about the Newell. I will let you know what I found. Thanks Chappell

There are possibly one of three issues to your problem, either a loose wire which you will soon know, or a bad gauge or sending unit.

Took the top of the dash off and found a wire going to the temp. gauge laying there. Put it back on the the gauge worked. Thanks for all the help. I didn't know how the top came off and didn't want to force anything. Thanks again, Chappell
