Splendide Washing Machine Getting a Sewer Smell

about 2 months ago I put in a new washing machine and I am getting a sewer smell from the cabinet that houses it. I did not have this problem with the old machine. If I am doing laundry the smell is not there.

Check how far your drain hose is in the drain tube.
