Default Air Bags

I recently had an air bag failure. My driver's side drive axle front air bag burst from being covered with hydraulic oil. I had a leak on a hydraulic hose just above the air bag. When Newell fixed it they neglected to clean all of the oil off of the bag. Over time (about 18 months) the bag ruptured. My other bags are showing cracks around the bottom.

My point here is: inspect your air bags for cracks, etc. If your bags are over 10 years old I would recommend changing them. I am going to change mine as soon as I get home (presently in The Great Outdoors RV resort, Titusville, FL.).

Like the man said: pay me now or pay me later!
