Default GPS's that keep you off Parkway's and other roads

Preparing for our cross country trip and was wondering if there are downloads for GPS's that will help with staying off of Parkway's and other roads that are not supposed to be used by large motor homes. Have had many problems with this in the past, especially when getting around large city's. The GPS I have now is a Garmin nuvi. Is there anything for this brand, or does any other make something similar to what I am searching for?
