Default Replacing Zip Dee 16FT Awning

I have a zip dee awning that I believe is 16' feet long that needs to be replaced,anyone have any instructions and do's and dont's to accomplish this safely?

be careful with the springs they can cause serious injury - if you are not completely sure of your abilities DO NOT attempt to repair the awning. Most RV awning repairs are best left to professionals!

ZipDEE is great with support. But it is definitely a 2-3 person job to replace flex key & fabric. I felt it was money well spent to have a local rv shop replace flex key for us.
