Default Basement Air

Took my coach in for Newell's Annual Preventive Maintenance progarm.( I stretch it out to 18 months.) Anyway, the tech's amp meter showed inadequate draw meaning one of the two compressors wasn't running. He replaced the PC board & both compressors started running.

Earlier I'd thought we were getting less cooling....and we were with only one compressor. But it was cooler than ambient so that was confusing until I learned of the second compressor. Each has to be called into service by the PC board.

Upon reassembly the air handler blower motor wouldn't run, first we thought a flat spotted armature as it'd run with a bit of starting help. Nope. It was just a condenser, an easy fix.
