This exactly why my wife wouldn't let me build our own bus conversion. She was right and that is why we bought one already finished. Who knows I may have already had 3000 hours and stilll be working on it.

I used to hang out with folks that built their own airplanes. The common refrain was 90% done and 90% to go. It had a ring of truth to it in that 90% of the weight didn't take nearly the effort the seemingly final details did.

I remember building the model cars as a child. I was such a perfectionist and wanted everything precise. I would never be able to build a kit car, let alone a motorhome! I would never make it out of the shop!
