Default Fulltiming in Austin, TX

As some of you know we have been in Austin, TX since last Tuesday when we arrived via Southwest Airlines at about midnight. Today we had the opportunity to visit with Michael and Georgia Day at La Hacienda RV Park near the shores of Lake Travis....seems like just a couple of months ago we left them as we headed back to California after our mini-rally last April.....almost 14 months ago! They are still in the same exact site they were the last time we saw them. The only difference is there are no other Newells to be seen. We spent about 4 hours with them and were treated to a wonderful dinner (we call it lunch in Southern California) and even better conversation, if that is possible (many of us have tasted Georgia's cooking, and know not much can top her cooking!). Here is a picture of them taken around 3:30pm today...they are alive and kickin' in Austin.....and still Fulltiming...

By the way, Lake Travis is completely full now after heavy spring rains....what a difference a year and a lot of rain makes! When we were here last April it was 45' below full capacity!!!

Yep, Clarke, no better people on the planet. Hope to get some of that food ourselves one of these days. Glad to hear they are well and that the Lake is back to full.

Safe travels.

David

Clarke and Elaine, it was truly a blessing having you back in our coach again. We enjoyed every minute of the time. One of the greatest parts of Newell ownership is the friendships. There are so many great people that we have as friends that we likely would have never met had it not been for Newell and NewellClassic.

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be part of such a great bunch of people.

David, come down anytime and Georgia will be pleased to reintroduce you and Denise to her cooking.
