Storage
Does it make sense to shut off the main electrical panel switch and cut off power to the coach during winter storage? We're storing our coach outside in very cold temps and plugged into 15 amp service to keep the batteries charged?
The coach has been fully winterized with anti-freeze, gas tanks filled and additives added.

Well it might prevent electrocution of a mouse or something. Seriously, just make sure you don't kill the power to your battery charging system.

... sorry Richard if this question seems dumb, but how to I ensure the battery's will still be charging?

It's not dumb at all. I am not familiar with your charger setup, but in essence when you start shutting down AC circuits in the coach, you want to make sure that you keep power to the AC circuit that powers the battery charger.
On the earlier coaches, I think that the battery charger was actually plugged into a circuit. If you still have that setup then, you could simply measure the voltage at the plug as you shut down circuits. However, if someone has updated the coach to an inverter/charger combo, then you would need to measure the AC voltage going into the unit.
In a simpler way of looking at it, you cannot totally kill the power to the coach and maintain the battery charging. You can kill individual circuits, but you have to do it selectively. Your panel may have labeling indicating which breaker feeds the charger. If so, leave that one on.

On our '82 the Switch Panel would need to stay energized. The Old Battery Charger/Converter was on a Circuit Breaker.
We now use the HEART Power Inverter/Charger. I rewired the Inverter/Charger to a new and completely separate Double Pole Circuit Breaker that is located just after the Source Isolation Panel (Relay Box at the port aft bay).

... great, so I went out to the coach and turned the main panel switch back on. Then I shut off all the individual circuits to things like the fridge, heaters, air conditioners ... and left the inverter/charger one on.
Now, I read on another post that the inverter/charger should be left off so as not to drain the batteries. Hmmm, I'm still confused.
I'll accept your input with great appreciation.

I can see why you would be confused.
Leave the AC power ON to inverter/charger so that the charger maintains the batteries.
Turn the inverter off. You should have a panel or switch. That doesn't turn the charger off. That way IF you lose AC power to the coach, the inverter does not kick on and use the batteries to power the AC circuits in the coach.
Does that clear it up?
