Default Residential Convection Ovens

Can I install a household type convection oven in my coach or will the movement of the road be to hard on the oven?

Cliff

Cliff, house style microwave convection ovens are what is in most luxury coaches including Newell and Prevost Conversions. Main thing is fit and ventilation. There are a few threads on the subject around here. I know that Gordon Hummel contributed quite a bit on his past install. I'll look for a couple of those threads and link them in here in a bit.

They say once you fall in love with your convection oven the only thing you'll need your regular oven for is extra storage place.

We replaced our 17 year old small microwave with a new full size convection microwave oven. It was a big job, but my wife and I did it with no real issues. Take your time and go for it! My wife LOVES her convection unit! If you want, I can post pics of the process.

We removed the old unit, cut out the left side of the cabinet a bit, built a new mounting bracket for the back, reinforced the top to hold the added weight, and now..we have a new full sized convection oven! The link to add a pic is not working for me. It gives the dialog box but not the search button. I will keep trying.

Looks like it was quite the little project, job well done. Looks like the trim you are speaking of is on that edging of where the corner was cut out correct?

Thanks, and yes the trim is a cut out piece. It is so nice to have the oven. Take time and it is a done deal. Also, we added LED light strips thru out the kitchen. My wife cooks a lot, and it is a nice kitchen she has now.

One of the sweet things of owning a Newell is you can have residential appliances.
