Default US Air-Force Reserves Newell

Found the pictures of the Air-force Reserves coach we spotted rolling north on I-25 in Colorado. Anyone else ever seen this coach or know about it? It would be cool to know some history on it.

Nice Newell the Air Force Reserves has there. What year would you say it is? I'm guessing it's an early 90's?

It appears to be a Series 60 so it is most likely a late 1994 - 1997. (Hint: taillights are horizontal rather than vertical, side radiator BUT no air vents on the side near the rear and above the side engine/radiator access panels). Since Newell made mid-year changes, it is VERY difficult to tell the exact year from the appearance. Mid 1994 was the transition from the 8V92 to the Series 60 for MOST Newells. Note that everything is a generalization with Newells as some were built with other brands of engines in them.

I have seen this coach a couple of years ago while stopping for fuel. Trying to remember what state it was in. Maybe the Ms. will remember. Hey - the Air Force has great taste.
