Default GPS speed input

My Kenwood GPS with a moving map needs a speed input to work properly in my 94 model with the 8V92 and the 741 transmission. It needs the same signal the cruise control uses to capture the vehicule's speed (VSS). How can I hook up to this?

You can pick up the signal from the terminal board located in front of the passenger seat. If your wiring is the standard arrangement, the speed signal came be picked up on terminal block 31, white with a blue stripe, and 32 white with a green stripe.

Default Speed input

That terminal is analog. My Kenwood is looking for a ditgital speed input. I had to go with an after market speed detector that utilizes a magatized tire and a sensor to pick up digital speed. It does not work well at low speeds.
