Default Yanmar genset x 3 (15,000 btu) roof airs

Hi every body! How are you all? I hop you all doing fine,

I have 12kw yanmar genset, and I am planning to install three Dometic low profile 15,000 roof ACs, instead of the three 13,500 Carriar. The question is: Could the genset handle those 3 x 15,000 Dometic roof ACs? Am aware of not firing any big electric ac appliances (microwave, electric ovens, coffee machine) along with the roof airs.

Any advice comments would be helpful

Nasser

I believe those units are 20 amp's each so you would most have problems off the 50 amp hook up. You could most likley run them with your genny... The Heat Pump version takes the same 20 amps also and you would have that option also..

I've got the 12.5KW generator and have run all 3 A/cs, water heater, + a heater when I forgot once. Should be no problem.

remember you have 50 amps on each leg. 12500 watts / 120v = ~100 amps.

the coleman mach 15k btu air conditioners take 16 amps at max. so you can easily run 3 aircons, water heater, microwave and tv's. easy to tell by monitoring your amp meter that is on each leg.

i have 3 of them and have run all that forest said on the genny no issue.

The 15,000 should draw around 12.9 amps, the hi efficiency 13,500 draws 8.8.

Hello All,

Someone may have put some MalWare Script on the website of the originating thread poster - Nasser.

www.nasseralhameli.com

I clicked on Nasser's website and clicked on either of the following:

Articles
Print Information or
Biography

and AVAST AntiVirus blocked it, with the following warning:

[h=2]Infection Details[/h]

[TH]URL:

http://www.nasseralhameli.com/biography.aspx?

[TH]Infection:

HTML:Script-inf
Nasser - you may wish to have your website checked for Malware infection,
if ok then AVAST AntiVirus is registering a false positive.

Just a heads up for a possible virus/trojan/script/malware problem in
linking to sections of Nasser's website.
