Default Road Bumps & Vibration on Flat Screen TV's

What is the community doing to prevent damage to flat screen tvs by road bumps and vibrations?

Get yourself a well made wall mount (adjustable or fixed). Add some zip ties for extra security.

I made a mount for mine & have traveled over 50K miles without a problem. My bracket mounts to the roof hat section. This tv weights+50 lbs & the cabinet I modified was not strong enough.

I'm in the process of putting in a 46" which is only 1.2" wider than the old 42" & 1/2 the weight.
If you click on my name & go to my pictures you can see the bracket.
Also if you search this form, you should find many articles on this from about 4-5 years ago when many of us changed over to the new LCD's

Thank You Gordon would you mind sharing a picture of your mount? I tried to find your picture but had no luck.

Hey there Gordon,

I was able to find the link for you - http://www.luxurycoachlifestyle.com/....html#post3393

I think somehow maybe you didn't copy the whole link. But I just checked the one I have here and it works.
