When did Newell go with the 60 series engine?
I heard it was in the nineties sometime that Newell went with 60 series and I heard that some even came with the 50 series? What was the horsepower in those models?

hi, my coach is a early 94, #368 and it has a 60

Frank likely has one of the first Newells with the Series 60.

From what I heard over at the factory is that the first year the 60 series came available was sometime in 94' at which time I think they became standard equipment.

You guys are right on! We started installing Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines in 1994.
