Question Fisher & Paykel Dish Washer Drawer

I have seen a lot of newer coaches and Newells in general have the Fisher Paykel Dish Drawer. I almost always like to do a lot of research when I'm looking to have upgrades done on our Newell coach. I appreciate all the help and information I have gotten from all you great coach owners. I would really like to know how those of you who have a dish drawer have liked it's performance? Do they do a good job at cleaning the dishes? Have you had any issues or major repairs done? What would you say is the life expectancy of one of these dish drawers? We only use our coach for a few trips a year so we wouldn't be using the dish washer drawer daily but I would like to make this upgrade choice a good one. Any input?

After researching on a Fisher & Paykel Dish Washer forum I have found that the average life expectancy is 5-6 Years and most people have issues either locating parts and or service centers.

I have 3 of these 2 in houses and 1 in the coach and I have had 1 service call on a home unit which is now about 7 years old.I really like the size and how quiet they are.

Fisher & Paykel Dish Washer is a nice unit. Great for the RVer because it's compact which will save you space and you can do smaller loads of dishes. They are super quite maybe you'll hear a little humming if you don't have the TV but it won't interrupt you while you're reading a good book and you definitely won't be able to hear it while you watch TV or listen to music.

Do these dish washer drawers save on water? How much water do they use for a load of dishes? Having them in your coach do you only use it when hooked up to water?

Here are the most common issues. I took this from Fisher & Paykel website. I wonder which models are lasting 5-6 years since those are the models to keep away from.
