Default What's your story what it is we can learn from you?

We've all done it, share what you've done and what you now do to prevent it from happening again.

For me, it was when I was backing into an rv park site. I got out of the coach in the rain, and went over the maneuvers needed to back into the site. As I proceeded in reverse diligently paying attention to my back up camera, forgetting about my spotter I did it...I backed into a tree causing a decent amount of damage.

Today, I use my wife diligently and I have gone a few years without another incident backing into tight places (knock on wood). That is not to say that I don't make goofy mistakes.

So, what it is we can learn from you?

Will

My favorite so far, driving off with the sewer hose connected. Can anyone relate?? You know how embarrassing it is to be parked at a signal light and have some one pull up next to you to tell you that I am dragging my 20 foot sewer hose behind me?

Phil

Remember the movie RV? Well, I was in Denver at an RV park and had an air leak in my auxiliary compressor. I was trying to get the sewer valve to open which seemed to be stuck. Finally enough air showed up to open the valve, but I had forgotten to put the cap on. The tank was full. Of course, it was just like the movie. Now I have a sign at the valve to remind me to either have the hose connected or the cap on before I touch the switch.
