Default Galley exhaust over stove?

Good evening everyone!

We are thoroughly enjoying our 1996 Coach (#424) and are still trying to learn everything about her!

There is a filter over the stovetop, under the cabinet...I cannot find a switch for this filter, assuming that it is an exhaust for the stovetop? Thank you for any help or suggestions that anyone can give.

If yours is like mine the filter exhausts into the pantry. There is an exhaust fan in the pantry, just like the one in the bathroom. Do you have that setup?

I was wondering about that...our washer/dryer cabinet is next to the stove with a rooftop exhaust...maybe that is the one to be used??

Thank you for the info Richard and Rhonda! I will check that out this evening!
