Series 60 Turbo Boost
For you series 60 guys or anybody else we are traveling with friends that have 60's in their Prevost, here is the problem today his boost went away no codes showing.
We have cleaned all connections , pins, checked the turbo, air cooler for leaks and even changed the sensor the silly thing will loose power no black smoke no boost pressure but you can turn the cruise control and the boost goes up to 30 lbs fairly easy. Prevost Tech was no help it was a waste of an hour.
we are completely lost,
Vantare

This is simply a SWAG. Since it all seems to work fine with the cruise control on but not with the normal foot throttle maybe the TPS (throttle position sensor) or circuit has gone whacky. I haven't a clue how to test this except to alternately use the throttle and the cruise to run the engine RPM up and down. If cruise works and the throttle produces odd changes you have your culprit.
Good luck

Are you getting throttle counts on the reader when you step on the throttle? Maybe the tps is kaput!

Is it a fuel starvation problem, that will not allow boost ?
