How to clean out our air system?
I think our air system needs cleaned out. How do you get the 'sludge' cleaned out and how often do you clean it out?

You have drain valves on the air tanks. The primary thing you will get is moisture. Unfortunately, if it stays there too long, you will also get rust. What are you experiencing?

How ofter do you drain your air tanks? Its better to drain your air tanks more often than have your brake lines freeze up and you cant stop.

There is whats called air brake antifreeze for flushing your air system. After flushing, blow out all lines to remove crud, blow out new hoses before installation, and be diligent about draining air tanks.
