Default Noisy Air Conditioner

Our unit is a 2001 with the air conditioners located underneath. This is our first Newell. The front air is exceptionally loud (in our opinion). When it comes on we have a hard time hearing the tv. Is this normal?

The basement airs do move a lot of air. When the fan kicks in, you will certainly need to turn up the TV. I have found that the basement airs Newell uses are noisier when running than the Newells with roof airs.

My front air discharges right over the entrance door. All of the air comes out of ONE discharge vent. You can definitely hear it. Also the ACs are right under the left front for me. I can hear them running. The system is not silent like central AC in my stick and bricks house.
