Default Newell Hydraulic cooling fan system

Dear Experts,

I am very pleased to join luxurycoachlifetyle forum were I can benefit from the amount of expertise.

I am facing an issue with my Newell 1999 Hydraulic cooling fan. As I start the engine the fan seems to run at full speed at all times (winter and summer). Now how do i determne if it is running 100% speed or less. Some times in winter I need to remove the relay in order to stop the fan to worm up the engine. I have changed the Solenoid however nothing changed with the way it runs.

I would appreciate any support on this one.

Best Regards

I don't know the spec on the high & low speed for the fan controller. I would call Newell. Once you have the spec you can check it with a laser photo tachometer. The only thing that I am aware of that will fault the fan to high speed is either a bad solenoid or the dash a/c is on.

Maybe Newell will have more insight.................................
