Default 74' Classic Progress Update

The Ole' 74 is starting to take shape. Several long weekends have paid off in the process. Bedroom almost done!

Replaced half the outside walls, Rebuilt the windows, replaced all the flooring, changed from a double bed to two large twins.. Can get to the rear closets now... back to the carpet..

Jimmy, it looks like your doing a great job of rebuilding the back end. Keep it up.

The changes are looking really great. My '71 has the twins in the back but no closets. this post has given me the incentive to look and see if some type of closet area would be beneficial.

Has anyone had issues with the Norcold Frig/Freezer located in many Newell bays. I just had my second one fail and am told they are a closed system and can't be repaired. Mine will run but not cool and eventually shuts off. At $1400 new, I would prefer to repair, if possible. Any thoughts would be appreciated>

Default Another Weekend Report on the Ole' 74

Another weekend .. Behind Schedule..however the rain seems to have subsided .. The old Antenna must have been whacked at some point. The mount was cracked and the years had taken their toll. So I repaired the roof in two places and removed all the water damaged wood.. however to reuse the headliner I'm installing a center cabin light.. just happen to find a 110v line in the ceiling. next week to finish.. Meanwhile a Flying Scaucer landed on the roof....mmm No.. it the new TV antenna..

Jimmy

Added Finished Center Light Photo.. Three level Dimming touch pad.

Looks like you are doing it right Jimmy. Some folks would have left the damaged wood and just replaced the antenna. I always appreciate folks that are able to fix all of the problems they find rather than covering them up.

What brand and model is the UFO? My old style antenna works well to bring in digital over the air, HOWEVER, a stiff cross wind will lift it up a tad from time to time, and I get antenna up alarm and chime.

A permanently mounted saucer would fix that inconvenience.

Hey Richard,
Last summer I installed an Antennacraft Mini-State (HDMS9100RV). I bought it from :
www.solidsignal.com

$129.95 including ship.

It has worked well.
