Default Sewage smell overtook coach

The sewage smell all of a sudden overtook the coach. The holding tank was @ 50% We hurried to the nearest dump station and that took care of the immediate problem, now we smell the chemicals. Is it possible the vent is plugged somehow?. This happened just about instantly Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you use your washer at all? The trap can dry and let odors in.

The other post covers the most likely smell, also make sure that the stove burners are all the way off and your not smelling propane.

Also, many of the Newells have a system to minimize odor, and need a little salt in the system to conduct current to mitigate the smell. Add a couple of tablespoons of ordinary table salt to the drains when there is mainly just fresh water in the system to create an electrolyte to conduct electricity better.
