Default Outdoor carpets

We are looking into buying some outdoor carpet. The wife talked with a fellow at a local hardware store and he mentioned to her that there are RV companies that sell this outdoor carpet but it's better than the kind you cut and buy from them. Does anyone know of this?

I bought the RV one. It is light weight, reversible, drys quickly and easily cleaned. Water goes through it easily. It folds and stores nicely. I have seen rules at a campground that don't allow any carpets at all on the grass.

some campgrounds do not allow the use of "outdoor carpet" as it kills the grass.

Camping World, and others, sell one that is like a plastic. Actually made of polypropylene (recycled plastic pop bottles). This allows air and water through, will not harm the grass. Easy to clean (just hose it off), dries quickly, doesn't hold pet hair, and can be just swept clean.

Colors don't fade (can be had in different colors and designs) and easy to care for. Light and easy to store (try to fold up and put away a wet piece of carpet). They cost a little more than carpet but I think well worth it

I bought a polypro rug from frontgate.com on clearance. But we don't really use it often.

Faulkner Furniture has some nice patio mats with some different designs and colors.
