Pex Tubing Size for Plumbing
What size pex tubing should I purchase when incorporating it into our Newell ? I was thinking 1/2 but want to double check first.

Yes 1/2" is the norm, but depending on the year of your coach you may have to use a fitting to change from the old poly B to pex.

Pex is the way to go because it allows for expanding and contracting without worries of rupturing. Remember to buy colored pex.

Is there a reason for the colored pex?

I believe that it helps keep down growth. Clear allows sunlight and then biological growth.

Hi David, If you really want to make plumbing easy try these shark bite fittings, especially where crimpers wont fit. They are removable with a special tool. I have used these myself and they are great quality and very easy to use. PEX Fittings, Plumbing Supplies, Quick Connect - SharkBite®

Keith: thanks for sharing the PEX connector link. I'm thinking of rejiggering my water compartment and these would make the job way easier.
