Default Pro's & Con's Using Jacks When Stored?

I'll be visiting my son's for 3 weeks and can't park our Newell in the subd. so I figured I'd put it in rv storage for the duration of our stay. What I've noticed is most Newell's sit on their tires without benefit of jacks. Is there a general rule about this? Seems to me that jacks take a lot of pressure off tires. What are the pro's & cons either way? or does it make a difference since its only a few weeks.
Thanks,

Archie

Jacks down I would be worried about the jack "Stems" being exposed to the weather and rusting.

Jacks up puts the full weight of the rig on the tires.. (Driving is ok but sitting is not) so I would suggest jacks down to take some of the load off.

Archie, if you have jacks you have a rare 1995 Newell. After 1989, almost all Newells only had air leveling. I have driven a couple of early 1990's Newells that had both air leveling and jacks but they are rare. I doubt that more than 5% had them.

Michael:
My 97 has them but they were disabled when the coach was upgraded to air leveling.

Thanks Steve. I have noted that in my database.
