Default Horn steering wheel

I am trying to replace the horn for the steering wheel. I thought that the "horn button" was a push and twist. I tried that and the button did not turn. I have a HISTORY of using too big a hammer at times and did not want to make it worse. Is there another trick here. Thanks

IMy 77 coach has a horn button labelled "Ross". It turns, with or without pressing down to loosen it from the wheel. If I recall correctly pushing helped a bit but wasn't necessary. It is held in place with rubber lugs with indentations, the rubber was rather stiff perhaps from age.

You should be able to push it down firmly and turn counter-clockwise. There appears to be a little bit of a catch on the lugs 77newell is speaking about.

I have some pics I will post to help out whomever.
