Default Anyone own a Brake Master 9000?

I seen a setup on another guys motorhome and it was a Brake Master 9000 which runs off of air. The guy told me that the system uses an air pump mounted on the coach that supplies an airline coupled to the towed vehicle. What I am wondering, does a system like this need its own air compressor or can a person run the system off of the coach air pump? Looking at the best option.

Should run off the service side of the coach system. You can also try M&G brakes for your toad. It works great

Ok, thank you Mike for your reply. I have a chance to pick up an almost new unit for around $500 bucks without a air compressor. If it will work off the coach air than I'll probably do it. The brand you are referencing must work the same way I gather?

i am still looking myself, but am pretty sure i will go with the m&g. it is simple and yet effective. make sure you look at it to be sure that even if you are getting a great deal on the brakemaster, that it is actually the one that you would buy looking at them from scratch. if so, then it might be a great deal (i dont know the value on the brakemaster)

The M&G brake will not fit all cars. What are you guys pulling?

I use the brakemaster 9000 when towing my 2001 GMC Yukon XL 2500. Installed myself on both the GMC and the Newell. Works well. Don't forget the breakaway kit.
