'99 coach w/60 series Detroit
Does anyone have the fluid capacities for this era coach. I'm looking for oil, transmission, coolant & hydraulic capacities.
Thanks in advance..........

Steve,
All of these amounts can & will vary:
Series 60 = 8 gallons oil + ??? for the filters (mine has 2 oil filters) check it after the 7th gallon. It is easier to add a little more than have to remove it.
Coolant series 60 = 12 gallons mixed 50/50 water/PowerCool antifreeze
Allison 4060 transmission: here's a lu-lu! Originally when I changed my tranny oil in 2006 it took 37 quarts of Mobil TransSyn. I changed it in Jan. 2010 and it took 32 quarts of the same oil! It was changed both times by a Detroit/Allison dealer. Go figure!
Hydraulic oil: Just use the sight glass. I don't think that hydraulic oil needs to be changed. It is just transmission fluid.
Hope this helps, and welcome to the forum.

My 60 takes ten gallons of oil. Go figure.
The tranny is like Tuga said, it depends on how much drains out of the torque converter. Best to underfill just a little and use the keypad to tell you how many quarts to add.
