Default LAPTOP and I PAD

With several mounting companies on the market, has anyone recently added a
IPad or laptop mount thru dash or suction cup to side window or windshield?
I would like to mount netbook just forward-right-center of steering wheel.
So I can run VMSpc.
Sort of a Glass Dash look.
Also add a free-swing IPad mount for passenger.
Source: RAM MOUNTS has about 100+ way to do it.
But I would like to see it first.

for me it would be cheaper to just have darlene stand and hold it for me. that way she could reposition it on command.

oh yea....on second thought, that might not work......

First thought! That never works with Connie . Always some breakdown! Then added expense for upgrades.......

I like those RAM mounts.......I've been wanting to get my Netbook off the center console...this looks like the perfect solution. I use my Netbook for my GPS program....my DD is totally mechanical so there is no VMSpc for me.

hi,

what laptop mounts are you all using? on my 1990 i could just set it on the center console. there is no center console on my 02.

thinking about getting the one that the guy on ebay makes out of pipe and mounting it in the cupholder of the moveable cupholder/rectangular unit that came with the coach.

any suggestions or experience?

thanks

tom

Guys,

Here is what I ended up doing. I am using the Kindle Fire to display my VMSpc data. I used a suction cup mount and located the display just to the left of the rear view camera display. Mount was inexpensive, about $13 and has not fallen off yet :-) Here is the description from Amazon:

Interesting Russ, wish it would work with my Ipad.

It works with mine :-) There is a trick however! VMSpc runs on a PC as you would expect from the name. I simply share the screen of my PC to the Ipad or Kindle with an app called "Air Display". I have used in on both, but prefer the Kindle so the Ipad is free for other navigational uses. The only bug in the process is that presently Air Display will not reconnect automatically should the WiFi connection drop, and mine does occasionally. Developers say this well be fixed at some point, but I am not holding my breath.

Just ordered a suction mount for an iPad, going to mount it on the passenger window so it is easier for the passenger to browse on it.
