I'm sure that we will need more info, year etc.
On our '83 the Pressure Regulator is at the Rear of the Coach and is part of the Air Ride and Leveling System. It is on the incoming side of the Air Line from the Compressor off of the Engine. We have a small 120 Volt Air Compressor but it is located at the rear in the Engine Compartment and feeds into the same Line.

Charlie,
Wow......150 psi is a lot higher than mine. My pressure tops out about 120-125 psi. Not sure where there is a pressure relief valve. There are three air compressors on my coach. The engine air compressor is on the passenger side of the engine, a 12V air compressor in the AquaHot bay attached to the rearward wall and a 110V air compressor in the 1st bay on the passenger side.

There is a D2 valve or similiar on most air systems that shuts off the engine compressor at +/- 120 PSI. This device also activates the air dryer in many applications.

They are +/- $15.00 & on my Newell located by the air dryer.

Any truck shop will have them, & it's the first thing to replace given your indicated pressure

The above ref link has all the info on the typical D2 valve.

As mentioned on other posts, your Newell has 2 aux compressors. I would be surprised if either of the these aux compressors would produce 150 psi. It's possible, but doubtful. If infact you have 150 PSI it is probably being generated by the engine compressor.

Might want to check the gauge as a safety valve would normally prevent that pressure.

As far as safety valves, there are probably numerous ones on your coach. Could be one in the engine compessor, or the wet tank would be my first suggestions.
