Default How long will AGM's last you ?

Loaded question I know. Am curious though under normal conditions where at night your running your aquahot system and watching t.v. with lights and fridge is on. how long could you go before needing to recharge batteries ? Also how difficult are solar panels to install on the roof ?

The next time you are at home, or any place where you have SHORE POWER, just boon dock for a day/night and see how your batteries perform. This is a very simple thing to do and you have no worry about being stranded. If the batteries go dead, then plug in, recharge, and try it again, using a little less power inside your coach.

AGM deep cycle batteries coupled with solar power should give you years of trouble free usage.

Birdman, here's a link to more information than you knew you needed to know. The RV Battery Charging Puzzle « HandyBob's Blog

It details how to calculate what your usage requirements are, what you require as far as number or batteries, what you would require for solar panels and how to make your batteries last. Keep in mind this is one man's opinion and others will disagree with him.
