Question Color of interior important?

Did it matter to you when you purchased your coach? We have looked at quite a few and some are really dark from the cabinets to the sofas and flooring and then others are the exact opposite and are all white and almost too bright.

I would like to find a coach that is a happy medium. But so far I'm thinking we'll have to buy one and make some changes to give it the look and feel we are wanting.

I keep thinking to myself whats with all these coaches that have all dark interior? I want a little color and style. White shows everything and with white cabinets it will show finger prints and that will drive me crazy.

Any thoughts?

No matter what color your cabinet doors are it seems they become a magnet for fingerprints. If you are worried about that you can always use dish detergent and white vinegar. It works great for wiping away finger prints.

I do understand your concern, I also have seen that a lot of coaches either boast a lot of dark features or a whole lot on the light side with interior features. You can and want to create a balance between comfort and style.

At first just adding simple things like pops of color or fabrics that appeal to you you will see how much more it feels like home. Watch and see, how you feel in just that bit of a difference. If you have the budget you can go for new flooring, upgrades in fixtures or furniture you name it. It can be redone if it's not to your liking. If you don't have an eye for things like this you may want to consider hiring a professional. Good luck with finding a coach and then the fun part making it the coach of your dreams.

One of the things I like most about our Newell is "no" interior wood! All is in Saffron & flat black laminate & Corian. It's pretty light, but balanced with dark carpet. Wood is great for some, but just not my thing in a luxury coach.

The five cheaper coaches I have owned all had wood, some beautiful. I think the laminate in the Newell is unique and I love it.

I know with a lot of older Newells you might come across this issue. Quite a few have all dark brown laminte cabinets, doors and wall coverings and others have light brown or white. You can break this up with window coverings or added touches like Charlotte Rosita suggested.

I didn't see anywhere a mention of you having a problem with the laminate or that you were wanting wood? Did I miss something? But because it's been brought up I will add that the laminate Newell Coach uses in the later model Newells is beautiful and of high grade. It's definitely not the same type of laminate that you would find used on a cheap book shelf or desk from Walmart.
