Default luxury motor coach oil change intervals

Two questions - intervals for cars is about every 3 months or 3k miles. What is it for newells? i have read a few times every 7k miles. If you haven't hit that mark how often?

Secondly, is changing the oil pretty similar to that as changing it in cars? I have changed the oil myself on all my cars/truck and dispose of it properly. I'm thinking of doing all fluid changes myself at home but I know once we hit the road it will become more challenging/possibly even impossible.

I think it's 15,000 miles or once a year. I do mine each year. Pretty much the same except for the quantity (think gallons rather than quarts!) and the filter is much larger. The first time you change the oil consider adding a Fumoto valve. Makes it MUCH easier, you can stop and start the draining so can drain oil directly into the empty gallon cans.
Another very important thing is if you have an 8V92 you MUST use the proper single grade 40 wt. oil, cf-2. Do some reading here on this. The wrong oil will damage these 2-strokes.
Not many campgrounds allow you to do oil changes at your site.

Forest that Fumoto valve is a great idea. I have never used one, in fact I have never even talked about it. Since they show a few different part numbers, do you know which one fits the 8V92? I also see an adapter available. Is this needed on these larger engines?

When on the road I take my DELO 100 40 Wt. and go to one of those quicky Oil Change places. They usually charge between $30.00 to $45.00 to drain and dispose of the oil.

Don't remember which Fumoto I bought. I think I emailed them and they reponded with the correct one.
They also make one with a connection for a hose to attach but make sure it won't hang down too low.
