New Carbon Monoxide Alarm
The clips on my current carbon monoxide alarm are broken and I need to replace the unit. My question is do I need a dedicated RV type alarm or will a residential type work?

I would get one like this. A combination 12 volt hard wired unit.

We have a both a dedicated smoke alarm - battery powered & Combination propane/co2 that is hard wired - one in the bedroom and one in the living area and remember these should be placed waist high not on the top of a wall or ceiling like a smoke detector is.

At the last Seminar we were told that CO is slightly lighter than Air. We have the SAFE-T-ALERT that Lou suggested.
Not sure if one is better than the other, just know that I wouldn't be without one.
