Default Bedroom Lighting Short

I've blown the fuse for the bedroom area lighting. I can't find a short. All the other fuses are fine and not registering any voltage. Any suggestions?

Joseph

Joseph, are you talking about valence lighting or lights in the cabinet over the bed? Not sure about your year model but in mine, the wires running to the lights over the bed are under the floor of the cabinet which is largely unsupported. If you carry heavy items in that cabinet, it could, over time, rub some of the wires.

If you have multiple lights, I would first remove and tape off the wires to one of the switches and see if that stops the fuse from blowing. Shorts can be a real pain to track down. The best you can do is start eliminating things that could be shorting and work from there. The more detail you can provide, the easier it will be to try get you started in the right direction.

Hopefully someone with a coach similar to you will have additional ideas.
