Not 'Ready for a Full Size Bike,'

'Then, How About Something Quiet ?'
~ 'VECTRIX' Quiet & Green ~
»»»»»» 'NewellClassic.com' ««««««««~»»»»»»»» 'NewellClassic.com' ««««««

For sure there's a lot of 'Electric Scooters' out there, but have a look at this baby.
«~» The Maxi-Scooter from 'Vectrix,' an all-electric scooter that can go from 0 to 50 miles
per hour in 6.8 seconds ! It will soon be available in the U.S.

«~» It will go about 68 miles at 25 mph before needing a recharge. And, like other scooters
and motorcycles, you can store helmets and other items in an empty space below the seat.
The bike is powered by a hub motor on the rear wheel.

'ELECTRIC VS. GAS ATTRIBUTES'
«~» The Vectrix scooter was designed to outperform an equivalent gas scooter (e.g. 250 cc
– 400 cc) in almost every way :

«» 25% lower cost of ownership over 4 years ;
«» Cheaper to run – electricity is 10% the cost of gas ;
«» Zero emissions ;
«» Very low noise ;
«» Faster acceleration – Almost 30% faster to 50km/hr than a 250cc gas scooter ;
«» Easier to ride - Stop and go throttle, no gears to shift ;
«» Better handling due to low center of gravity ;
«» Lower maintenance ;
«» More convenient – Charge at home or the office (no need to “track down” hard to find
inner-city gas stations) ;
«» Cleaner – Avoid messy gas stations ;
«» Lower insurance ;
«» Attractive government incentives and rebates ;
«» Lower licensing and registration fees ;
«» Free parking and charging in many cities ;
«» Access to gas-restricted inner-city areas.

Don't really 'Care For'
the 'Can-Am Spyder Grand Sport Roadster,'
nor the 'Piaggio MP3,'
nor the 'Vectrix Maxi-Scooter,'
and, how about another shade of 'GREEN ?'
On the cutting edge
'Well How About Going 'GREEN ?' Really really 'GREEN ?'

I really like the Bombardier and wonder if one would fit in a bottom compartment of a Newell? It is really a very nice looking machine and I would consider one regardless. 8)

Thanks Un Wein for the great photo.
«~» The 'PALV,' a Personal Air and Land Vehicle is a 'Gyrocopter' and is still in concept stage.

« ? » Would I fly in a 'Gyro ?'

«~» This type of folding 'Gyro-Copter' as been around since a long, long time, I recall seeing
one in 'Popular Mechanic' or Popular Science' in the late 50's a small difference, the 'Vehicle,'
was a car with 4 wheels.
«~» May be worthwhile, great design, quite interesting.

'Then How About This !'

«~» Venture Vehicles, Inc. is an innovative, environmentally-friendly personal transportation
company based in Los Angeles, California 'Venture Vehicles' Website «CLICK HERE»

«~» Presently in Europe. Dutch by design, the Carver One is a three-wheeled, twin-seat
tilting vehicle, combining the agility of a motorcycle with the comfort and safety of a car. It is
steered like a car, but when cornering it banks like a motorcycle, or better still, enabling a
plane-like 'tilting before cornering'
.

«~» The mechanical-hydraulic Dynamic Vehicle Control (DVC™) system automatically adjusts
the tilt angle
to the speed and acceleration of the vehicle, ensuring an optimum balance at
all times
, resulting in an agile but safe, stable and comfortable platform. The thrill of this
tilting capability combined
with the handling of a sports car, makes for an exhilarating driving
experience unlike any other.

«~» Venture Vehicles has unveiled plans for its VentureOne, a two-seat plug-in three-wheeler
with a glass canopy roof that can out-accelerate a Porsche Boxster, and gets 100 miles to the
gallon
. While the same height and length as the MINI Cooper, the driver in the VentureOne
sits as high off the road as a standard automobile.

Dynamic Vehicle Control technology allows the passenger compartment and the front wheel
to tilt when cornering. On the whole tilting thing, Venture teamed up with Carver Engineering.

It Steers Like a Car, but, BUT . . .
