Gordon, the stock inverter in my '92 was located under the bed and this is where the larger is installed. The carpet covers a wooden cover over the wire run actually is held in place with long screws. On mine there are two wood screws almost at the edge that are screwed down toward the floor, one about 5" from the front of the cover and one about 4" from the rear of the cover. Additionally, on mine, there are two wood screws that go in from the side toward the wall of the coach, one about 9" from the front and one about 8" from the rear of the cover. The screws on the vertical surface are about an inch down from the top on mine coach. The only way I found them was to remove the carpet (a bunch of staples) from the vertical surface, and lift the carpet up to find the screws. You don't have to remove the staples hold the carpet to the top of the cover if you pry the carpet up from the bottom since the top wood screws are right at the edge.

The device marked inverter appears to be a solid state rectifier. I have not seen a 'factory' inverter disconnect switch. The wires from the coach batteries went through a large fuse (covered by a black wooden box) on the front wall of the engine compartment, driver's side. From there, wires went to the inverter. I have a new fuse installed next to the original and larger gauge wires going to the larger inverter through the same route as the original cables.
