Bryon Raymond Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Mansfield, MO Posts: 22	lube oil I never thought finding a particular lube oil could be so frustrating. I've tried to find Mobil Delvac 1240 40wt at auto parts stores, truck stops, etc. with no luck. I found Chevron's Delo 100 40wt fits the bill, but now I'm getting brick-walled on that one too! Can someone suggest an oil that is readily available and meets Detroit Diesel requirements? I know Newell has suggested a multi-vis oil but I want to stay with a 40wt, and ideally, a synthetic.
