Alternator is history what to do now!?
Well I Found the alternator not spinning and the belts were smoking. Took off the belts as they are now destroyed. What should I do about this alternator? Any suppliers for purchasing an alternator?

Might be able to have it rebuilt. Worth comparing the costs, could be just bad bearings.
Which engine? 8v92 or series 60?

Where are you located? We had to replace ours in Houston and it did not cost all that much. Find an alternator/starter shop in your area. They will be able to help.

Get the information off the nameplate on the alternator and give your NAPA store a call. TheY had the one for my 96 series 60, and at a good price.
